MMS2 is a high grade lab certified calcium hypochlorite – Ca(ClO)2 – in capsule form. Each bottle contains 60 capsules. Each capsule contains 400mg. When calcium hypochlorite comes into contact with water, it immediately becomes hypochlorous acid.
We have sourced the highest quality calcium hypochlorite available. This product is not the same as standard “pool shock granules” and does not contain the same binders that granules contain. Great care has been taken in the selection of capsules to insure they withstand the contents without becoming thin and brittle over time.
Using MMS2 to purify drinking water: Adding the contents of one MMS2 capsule to 50 liters of water will effectively kill most known pathogens. Let water stand for at least 30 minutes to allow MMS2 to do its job!
